Good Samaritan Counseling Center is one of the
largest stand-alone outpatient facilities in Alaska. We recognize

comprehensive, individualized approach to mental health services. No
matter whether we're working with an adult on anger management issues
or child through play therapy, we believe each person should

We are currently searching for a Psychologist to
join our established team. This person will be responsible for the
provision of psychological and behavioral services including
assessment and testing, development and implementation of behavioral
and functional treatment plans and consultation with
interdisciplinary service providers as needed. This person will be
responsible for providing services in clinical settings and will
provide individual, group, and family therapy. Additional
responsibilities include community outreach which may involve tasks
such as providing regular in-services or presentations to both
professionals and non-professionals. Other responsibilities may
include the ongoing supervision of behavior specialists, interns, and
practicum students including training, direct and indirect service
oversight, and weekly face-to-face meetings.
This position requires a Ph.D. or Psy.D in Clinical
Psychology with an APA-approved post-doctoral internship in clinical
psychology. A license to practice psychology in the State of Alaska
is required. The ideal candidate should have a documented history of
providing psychological evaluations and treatment plans in acute
psychiatric hospital settings.
