The incumbent of this position conducts the public affairs and information program for the United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Virginia, including all branch offices. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and disseminating public information inside the district and beyond; maintaining internal communications; and undertaking studies of issues of concern to the U.S.Attorney's Office. Assignments often entail confidential matters. Incumbent must have the capacity to understand the sensitive pre-indictment stage of investigations.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
