Perform identified public health office support duties, including personnel scheduling responsibilities.
Examples of Duties:
Develop and maintain weekly schedules for Home Health Aides via computerized scheduling program.
Telephone follow up with employees and clients related to schedule changes.
Assist the public over the phone or in person, screen and direct calls, direct office traffic, schedule appointments.
Assist with clinic duties involving families and young children.
Perform clerical duties such as data entry, word processing, form development, mail processing.
Work collaboratively with professional and paraprofessional staff to assist with public health programs.
Occasional assistance with community outreach activities.
Perform other duties as required.
High school diploma and one to two years of office experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Office experience in a health care setting. Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Somali. Post-secondary education related to clerical/administrative assistant skills.
6.5 hours per day for a total of 32.5 hours per week. Typical work hours 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, with occasional work hour fluctuations.
