Director of Public Relations & Analyst Relations
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Public Relations & Analyst Relations to lead our corporate communications, media and influencer strategies and activities. This highly visible position will drive consistent and positive brand reputation by establishing LiveOps as a category leader in the enterprise cloud customer service SaaS market. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, development of corporate messages, competitive positioning, press releases, product launch plans, industry analyst management, press relations, blogs & articles, speaking opportunities, awards and social media.
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, the ideal candidate is an expert in media relations and analyst relations with a solid understanding of the evolving customer service, contact center, unified communications and CRM industries. Must be a senior-level communications professional with a proven track record in developing and executing successful PR and AR campaigns leveraging internal and agency resources. Proficiency in cross-functional communications coupled with a detail-oriented mindset is key. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is effective in handling multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Develop and implement strategic and innovative global PR and AR plans and KPIs to enable LiveOps to achieve its awareness and market positioning goals
Manage LiveOps PR agency, prioritize agency activities and budget to desired results
Identify creative and distinct positioning opportunities relative to competition to continuously establish LiveOps as a category leader in Cloud customer service applications space
Set press release, news and analyst communications cadence to ensure consistent and well-paced communications
Maximize media exposure through creative and compelling PR and social media campaigns
Cultivate relationships with key industry analysts an influencers to help communicate LiveOps unique strategic positioning and secure analyst endorsements
Facilitate effective information exchange between LiveOps internal stakeholders and analyst/influencer communities to increase LiveOps product, marketing and sales effectiveness
10+ years of experience in high-tech PR, either at an agency or corporate in-house
B2B enterprise software experience, preferably in contact center, customer service, unified communications or CRM
Advanced writing, editing and proofreading skills with extensive experience in corporate/executive communications and content development
Passion for presenting and evangelizing the growing need for multichannel customer service
Social media know-how with an active social profile
Significant experience in handling high-profile communications, demonstrating sound judgement and persuasive counseling to senior management
Excellent interpersonal skills to manage a large group of stakeholders including executive, marketing and product colleagues, customers, partners, media and analysts against common goals
Proven ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines and get the most from limited resources
BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing referred. MBA a plus.
