Magnetic Public Relations is a boutique Las Vegas public relations firm with a focus on consumer lifestyle clients. Our agency represents some of the best dining, nightlife, entertainment and beauty offerings in the city as well as international resort clients. We are adding to our team and filling positions ranging from account coordinator and higher.
Candidates must possess exceptional writing and communications skills, an understanding of media relations and be able to think strategically and creatively. A proactive nature and ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail is crucial. This is a fast-paced work environment and long days, late nights and weekends are a regular part of the job, in addition to in-office hours Monday-Friday.
Development of press strategies, story angles, media requests and day to day communications business; coordinating and supervising media on property at client venues; compiling, maintaining and updating media databases and calendars; compiling press clippings and client reports; managing event related public relations efforts including red carpets, press conferences and media fams; actively pitching media and building and maintaining media relationships; actively seeking out and proposing media opportunities; developing communications initiatives; writing and editing communications materials; assisting in creating new business proposals; attending client meetings and serving as a client contact; performing other duties as assigned by management
All positions require a college degree in communications/pr/journalism or related field.
Jr. Account Executives and above require previous media relations experience either in-house or in an agency environment.
Salary dependent on experience.
Local Las Vegas candidates preferred.
