We are currently seeking an experienced
Corporate Communications/Public Relations Professional
reporting to the global head of Brand and Public Relations and serving as part of a five-member team. In this role, you will be the primary communications strategist for two-to-three of CEB’s practice areas with responsibility for increasing brand visibility and equity via proactive influencer relations and media management, press release and byline development, speaker placement, account management and measurement and reporting. This person will also work collaboratively across the marketing function to develop innovative, integrated communications programs that leverage social media, digital and traditional channels.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Plans, manages and executes communications projects to drive brand awareness
Evaluates, assigns priority and develops outreach strategies
Develops and collaborates on the implementation of innovative communications strategies
Secures and facilitates editorial opportunities
- Develops and maintains relationships with media
Drafts press releases, contributed articles and blog posts
Identifies venues for and places speakers at major industry events
Assists in development of promotional strategies for trade shows
Contracts and serves as liaison with outside vendors, including external agency.
A successful candidate will possess:
6 - 10 years experience in public relations industry, agency experience a plus
Primary account management and team oversight experience required
Experience in finance and/or financial services industries preferred
Familiarity using current social media outlets (i.e., Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
Demonstrable relationships with business and trade media
Ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Public Relations, English or Communications
