As the PR Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and building our thought leadership position and positive media and analyst coverage. You will research, write press releases, executive communications and ensure they reach the target audience. You will also manage speaking engagements, media relations, and our social presence on Facebook, Twitter, Slideshare, and LinkedIn.

Responsibilities
Media Relations & Speaking Engagements

Develop strategies and own day-to-day execution for public relations programs related to monetization products and programs

Maintain close contact with journalists and editors, and develop and pitch stories

Drive positive coverage in business and advertising trade media

Prepare briefing materials and manage executive spokespeople

Social Presence

Help establish the voice of Optimal

Monitor social channels and initiate conversations

Create processes to generate steady volume of press coverage and promote within the appropriate channels

Content Management

Work with teams to develop creative and integrated programs to support product introduction, service offerings and thought leadership

Support and manage the creation of press materials and partner reference programs

Requirements

Minimum bachelors degree

2-5 years of public relations experience in a technology environment (at least 1 year of online social media experience preferred)

Preferred experience working with business press and bloggers to achieve communications goals

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills

Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Ability to integrate PR programs to support marketing goals and programs, and translate technology for varying audiences

Deep understanding and passion for Social Media
