TSTC West Texas is currently seeking a Publications Specialist. This candidate will be r esponsible for designing, developing, and executing creative concepts for various multi-media projects. The person will work in a team environment to promote campaigns for TSTC West Texas.
Functions and Principal:
- Design, develop, and execute creative graphic design projects for various mediums.
- Assist in the development of Web/ Internet and social media marketing strategies. Maintain, monitor and analyze related social media content.
- Work within electronic content management systems to develop, update, and maintain timely and relevant on-line content (including Facebook, e-newsletters, blogs, email blasts, and digital media), translate print-based communication to online and other digital media presentation channels, and ensure proper compliance with related logo and branding policies.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders on project conception through completion, ensuring all print and online materials and communications are timely, accurate, and effective.
Requires the ability to plan and organize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Demonstrates knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites, Microsoft Office and related computer applications for graphic design and multi-media projects
Exceptional oral and written communication skills to support customer service and interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
An educational background of an Associate Degree of Applied Science is required, plus a minimum of two years of related experience.
Preferred Technical Skills:
Photography and video skills are a plus.
Other Professional Skills:
Must be able to provide a portfolio for review.
