This role requires an individual who can combine a solid understanding of the Internet (including: publishing, blogging, advertising, and content distribution) with creative selling skills to forge long‐term relationships with a variety of online publishing partners. This role combines elements of direct sales and business development. Therefore, candidates must be able to show proven results and have experience working in a fast-paced business environment.

Responsibilities include

Prospecting and contacting independent website publishers

Forging new business relationships with the website publishers

Maintaining professional contact and upselling as appropriate


Business development / online media experience (online advertising, search, contextual marketing, web publishing, or content distribution.)

Internet savvy and proficiency in social media and office productivity tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to evaluate business opportunities

Solid prospecting skills

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to multi-­‐task and prioritize effectively in a fast-­paced environment

Be prepared to be accountable and compensated for your own activities and results

Ideal candidates should have some leadership experience and demonstrated abilities in sales, negotiations, and partner relationship management.
