Growing industrial company in the RIDC Industrial Park - O'Hara Township is looking to add a new person to the purchasing team.
This multi-faceted role will support variety of purchasing and inventory control duties including:
Preparing and expediting purchase orders
Entering purchase orders and vendors into the ERP system
Maintaining files and records of materials, prices, inventories and deliveries, researching, tracking and matching records of materials through;
- Purchase requisitions
- Purchase Orders
- Purchase order acknowledgements
- Verify receipt of goods/services against purchase orders
Compiling correspondence, documents, reports, and spreadsheets as needed to track and report purchases, inventory history, trends and costing.
Inventory control duties are expected to include: cycle count, purchase order receipt accuracy, and returned material inventory.
Strong work ethic with ability to work well under pressure, high initiative, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Supply Chain or related field and 3+ years of purchasing experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Strong interpersonal/communication skills, computer abilities and a team player are essential to success.
Salary commensurate with experience.
