Education or Training Required:
Two year Associate's Degree in Accounting; or minimum two years accounting or purchasing
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Required (Length & Type)
Proven experience with Microsoft applications necessary; working knowledge of MP2 system helpful.
Work history must include successful experience with self-direction and follow through, effective time
management, and giving positive direction to others.
Computer skills necessary in order to master MP2 system. Must have strong management skills
and be able to work as a team member and be flexible with work hours. Must be a self-starter and
and maintain a professional relationship with all levels of the workforce, including management and
clerical. Filing, Faxing and general office experience required. Must have proven organizational
skills. Strong accuracy, professionalism, assertiveness and reliability necessary.
Summary of Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include expediting orders for parts and services needed at the plant site. Will ensure
adequate approvals are in place, as well as defining terms and conditions of orders. Interaction
with vendors will include exploration of new products for plant usage. Will monitor vendor
performance. Must maintain and monitor open orders and MP2 records. Will interact with
management at all levels.
