Complete analysis on wood buying, data base updating, performing cycle counts, assisting with PO’s, and serving as a resource for projects as designated by the PIC/Procurement Materials Manager.
Expediting open PO’s.
Perform wood buying analysis
Determine all outbound trailer loads of product that have had carrier notification, but have not yet been picked up by the carrier – and communicate this to each carrier via e-mail.
Perform Supply chain value stream mapping
Bill of Materials Analysis
Audit and reconcile local contracts and services
Perform Work-in-Process (WIP) cycle counts as needed.
Perform Finished Goods cycle counts as needed.
Performing other administrative activities as denoted by the PIC Manager.
Additional experience through projects of varying complexity will be assigned by Manager based on skill level.
Required Prior Accomplishments - Experience - Skills:
Experience using Microsoft Office Professional products is required (i.e., Word, Excel)
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong problem solving / troubleshooting skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently within a dynamic environment
Full-time college student seeking a BBA degree.
Operations Management major or emphasis preferred, however other business majors will be considered
