Under the supervision of the Director of QA & Risk Management the QA & Risk Supervisor is primarily responsible for inspection of job site quality and safety (pre & post work completion) for Mycom North America (MYCOM).

Establish and maintain MYCOM Corporate standards to ensure the health and safety of employees and that organization is in compliance with applicable federal, state, local, Corporate and Customer quality and safety regulations/requirements.

Will provide support within a market or region, inspecting/auditing moderately to highly complex projects towards successful implementa­tion. This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing project plans, statements of work, procedures, MOPs, customer requirements, performing job site hazard analysis (JSA’s), field safety manuals, safety records, PPE and/or other regulatory requirements to insure that a thorough Quality Assurance and Safety Inspection is completed and documented.

Interpret and implement the Quality & Safety inspection requirements established by MYCOM and/or customer requirements. Creation and utilization of safety and quality checklists as defined by MYCOM and/or the customer.

Assist in the ongoing development and implementation of MYCOM’s quality assurance and safety inspection program. Work closely with region and market management to insure their implementation; and to monitor continual compliance and process improvements.

Provide assistance and support for quality, safety and environmental consultation and recommendations to project and site management personnel throughout all phases of site construction, installation and integration of telcom/wireless network deployments.

Conduct and document Safety and QA (Quality Assurance) inspections to identify issues, root causes and document corrective action plans. Conduct extensive site visits to evaluate site and work hazards prior to bid or plan development.

Conduct inspections/audits of projects/job sites to determine their compliance with the customer requirements and internal, external regulatory requirements.

Work in conjunction with the PMO, and establish Quality Standards and Processes as recognized by ISO9001/TL9000 & QuEST Forum.

Required Skills

Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) minimum 3-5 years of safety/quality assurance experience within the telcom/wireless sectors.

Working knowledge of the following: 2G, 3G, 4G, microwave, fiber, and DAS networks.

OSHA 30 certification required

Working knowledge of ISO9001/TL9000 quality management system.

Quality Auditing experience. (certifications a plus)

CPR/First Aide certified

Certified w/ ComTrain in Tower Operations/Rescue - prefd.

Ability to demonstrate expertise and/or experience related to telecom/wireless network deployments from a Quality & Safety capacity.

Previous experience with AT&T related construction projects within the last two years.

ASQ (American Society of Quality) QA Auditor/Engineer certifications is a plus

Ability to read, interpret scope of work, verify and document conformance to the customer contract requirements.

OSHA 500 is a plus skill.
