Our Information Technology department has a rewarding career position available for a QA Analyst looking for an opportunity to grow and flourish. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience testing web-based applications. This key position will report to the IT Director and will be part of a professional team responsible for the development, maintenance and execution of our test plans and scripts, as well as performing manual regression tests. This person will also interface directly with our development team for the purposes of supporting the bug verification and fix process, as well as verifying and understanding product enhancements.


  • Execute all levels of testing which includes Functional, Integration, Black Box/White Box, Acceptance, Regression and Performance
  • Document software defects and validate after defect resolution
  • Create and maintain the following QA Artifacts: Test Plan/Strategy, Test Cases
  • Run manual regression test plans to identify bugs and defects
  • Ability to work independently with development and project management as required to follow up on any issues identified
  • Record and maintain the details of any bugs
  • Understand bug severity and be able to prioritize and escalate issues
  • Be a vocal champion for quality in every phase of the development process
  • An understanding of the software development cycle and testing of web-based applications, interface testing
  • Experience in agile and parallel waterfall development methodologies
  • Experience using QA/Development tools to help improve testing efficiency and coverage

  • Able to work under pressure and time constraints
  • Experience with bug tracking systems ( JIRA, Test Track, Bugzilla etc)
  • Good working knowledge of documentation tools such as MS Word, Excel
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Salary Range: $45K - $55K
