Responsible for the Quality Assurance Program including the implementation of measurable quality indicators throughout the organization.
Serves as a regulatory resource for the organization to ensure performance of duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies, including but not limited to Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) regulations, the current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food & Drug Administration (FDA).
Apprises management on current regulatory and accrediting issues including licensure and registration.
Develops Quality Assurance personnel.
Assists as an audit liaison to outside regulatory and certifying agencies.
Establishes and directs training programs and continuing education programs (both internal and external) in the areas of compliance and regulatory affairs.
BS in one of the life sciences and/or 10+ years’ experience in related field
Experience working in a highly regulated industry (laboratory, devices, pharmaceuticals, or biologics).
Knowledge and experience with regulatory/accreditation agencies.
