As a member of our Quality Assurance Team you will plan and conduct activities concerned with the quality assurance of software and systems. The QA Engineer will identify, analyze, and document problems with software applications following an established QA methodology.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Including but not limited to):
Improve systems and processes for quality assurance in a complex software product
Define test plans to assure high quality delivery of the software system
Execution of the testing and support for troubleshooting and continuous product improvement
All other tasks as assigned.

B.Sc. in Computer Science or similar technical field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in software quality assurance or a combined equivalent years of work & experience

At least 2 years' experience writing automated tests
Experience testing hardware is a plus
Experience with DIACAP accreditation is a big plus
High-octane individual; must have a strong desire to learn and apply new technologies
Easily adapt to new and challenging tasks
Proven ability to work both in a team and independently
Must be able to obtain a US government security clearance
Excellent verbal/written communications skill
Ability to positively influence people across all functional areas of an organization

Automated test development using one or more of the following: C++, Python, or JavaScript
Networking, TCP/IP, and distributed systems knowledge
Testing of multi-threaded and multi-process apps on large clusters
Process improvement
Test planning

This position requires sitting for long periods of time, extensive computer use;
General office environment;
Some travel may be required within the Continental United States
Moderate levels of stress may occur.
