Five9 is looking for a BI/QA Engineer that will report to the the Director of Reporting and Analytics in the Engineering organization. This role will primarily be responsible for testing the data warehouse components and ensure high quality of the deliverable. This position works closely with offshore team and local development team.

Job Description:
Develop Test Plan and Test various stages of the data warehouse system.
Write necessary scripts to automate the Test effort.
Track defects using the bug tracking system and work with developers to find resolution.
Work in synergy with offshore peers to achieve efficiency.
Ensure high quality of the deliverable in concert with development and product management.

Job Requirements:
8 - 10 years experience in ETL + BI testing
Highly proficient in analyzing dynamic dashboards, dashboards, static reports, prompt reports and report builders.
Highly proficient in identifying risk and impacts of reports based on business requirements.
Experience with testing or developing ETL processes commercial ETL tools, SSIS preferred
Data analyses, data validation and/or data quality assurance
Experience validating data mapping, selection criteria, aggregations, sorting, lookups, transformations, data loads. processing and validating data in flat files as well as in DB tables.
Experience with batch processing.
Highly proficient in UNIX skills
Highly proficient in Database skills (MySQL, MSSQL)
Experience in building test strategies for end to end testing from ETL to reporting.
4 - 5 years experience in Test Management including managing onsite/offshore coordination.
Experience in coordinating with multiple people on multiple track
Ability to develop test assets (e.g. test plans, test designs, test cases, discrepancy reports, etc
Ability to track defects through the entire development life cycle, using bug trucking system.
Knowledge of Data Warehouse would be plus.
