Successful candidate will be responsible for assessing supplier performance during evaluation process to ensure suppliers are performing to requirements. Evaluation will include statistical analysis of supplier’s historical performance and will be the basis for determining future course of action(s). Will identify supplier’s core competencies and accurately catalog them into supplier database. Works with suppliers to resolve issues related to products or processes that do not meet required standards. Establish and maintain supplier performance metrics. Will assist in the establishment of programs designed to improve supplier performance and productivity. Will review purchase orders/requisitions and apply appropriate quality clause requirements as necessary.This position is located in Middle River, MD and is associated with the closing of the Johnstown, PA facility. |
Aerospace experience, Supplier Quality experience, Understanding of Inspection and Test Methods and Quality Management Systems, Strong Analytical Skills.
SAP experience, American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
