VSS is expanding its QA department and actively looking for Test and QA Engineers with a background in high performance software and hardware architecture and networking. QA Engineering will be at the forefront of of VSS' new generation of high-performance appliances and platform in ensuring both the performance and quality of its offerings. This is a full time role and you will be part of, and work closely with a team of outstanding hardware, firmware, software, and other QA engineers.

You will be a key part of the QA team and work closely with Development including both Hardware and Software Teams.
Responsibilities include:
The design, development, and execution of test automation, including the development and use of high-performance network traffic generators.
Development of Automation using languages such as TCL and Perl.
Collaborate with Development, Hardware, Manufacturing and other QA Engineers.
Requirements and Experience:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related discipline, or the equivalent work experience
5+ years in a QA/Test Automation role, working with high-performance, embedded systems for the telecommunications, service provider or large enterprise markets.
Expertise and work experience with network protocols, especially layers 2-4 (Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP), layer 7 protocols.
Demonstrated excellence in trouble shooting and problem solving skills
This is a full time position in Engineering organization.
