We are AcuSports Retail Technology Group and we are dedicated to the success of our Independent Sporting Goods Retailers! We are looking for a QA Manager and QA Analysts as we continue to build our QA team .

The QA Manager is responsible for testing software before it is released to the production environment. Planning and implementing the testing approach for key functional and/or technology deliverables. You will be responsible for managing the QA team and will create efficiencies and process improvements, in line with the project management process and project lifecycle. You will work directly with the QA team to ensure the software performs as it is written to perform with the business requirements; identifying any and all deviations from the written business requirements. The QA team tests for positive business requirement execution as well as testing for adverse negative results of changes made to the system. You will also be responsible for developing and teaching new technologies to the QA team and will have significant experience developing and executing tests designing and conducting both functional and non-functional tests. AcuSport has high quality standards for the software it releases and proper testing of all functionality is key to the success of the software. The product we are responsible for is a Shooting Sports solution that provides Point of Sale, Range Management, Gunsmithing, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Accounting and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) Compliance capabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Experienced in defining & implementing a automation process
Able to create a criteria or roadmap around right level of automation required for projects.
Design and execute manual test plans and test scripts for complete modules and/or workflows with the software
Convert business requirements into test plans and test cases
Managing Tests Plans and Test Cases
Investigate all potential product test failures and deviations
Bug fix verification and validation
Communicate issues with Scrum and Product owners on failed tests
Work with QA Testers to assure on time testing occurs
Train new QA testers on RTG software and tools

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience & Ability to effectively handle difficult customer situations
Expert Excel knowledge & Technical aptitude a must
Ability to work independently while working in an agile team environment
Understand Accounting Principals
Experience with C#, Visual Studio, Windows Server, TFS, SQL

Education and/or Experience:
Computer Science 4 Year Degree or Equivalent Experience
Previous retail experience preferred
7+ years of experience conducting QA testing Required
5+ years of Automation Experience
2+ years experience with TFS, Test manager or Lab Manager
Experience working Agile or Scrum Teams
2+ years of SQL experience
2+ years of Windows Server Experience
Experience with C# a recommended
Experience with Visual Studio recommended
