Dianne's Fine Desserts is searching for an exceptional Quality Assurance Technician to support our Le Center, MN facility

POSITION SUMMARY This is a 2nd Shift Position

To assist our production team in all aspects of the Food Safety and Quality Systems programs.

Dianne's is a fast paced working environment that utilized manual and automated production processes and equipment. This plant produces using products that contain allergens, including, but not limited to: milk, soy, wheat, egg, tree nuts and peanuts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Conduct a daily Quality Assurance walk-through at the beginning of shift utilizing the Daily Quality Assurance Checklist. Includes but is not limited to: Inspect all areas of the facility for GMP violations; record findings and notifying appropriate personnel, sanitizer concentration checks, water temperature check, cooler & freezer temperatures.

2. During an eight hour shift check weight in production & icing, oven temperature check, metal detection check and label check in packaging.

3. Verify that production is using the correct standards for each product and completing the proper documentation.

4. Review HACCP, pre-requisite, CCP, CP and SOP program paperwork. Notify appropriate supervisors for corrective action & follow-up to ensure effectiveness of the action.

P OSITION QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for an individual that has a High School diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree's preferred. 2-4 years of experience with Quality and food safety in a food manufacturing environment. A very detailed oriented and accurate individual, with great computer and communication skills. Someone with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
