We are now hiring technology consultants with the following skillset to work with us on an important client project:
QA Testing Lab Tech - 12 month + contract
The Incumbent will work under the direction of an Engineer in the QA lab building test signal racks and assisting Test Engineers in executing lab test procedures, and validating systems and configurations for signal systems. The lab technician resource is expected to maintain the signal test area, prepare racks prior to tests, and restore test areas after tests are completed. Daily activities may also include entering configuration data in project tracking and/or network management systems.
Maintain an efficient, safe lab area for testing controls and equipment.
Enter configuration data in project tracking and/or network management systems.
Understand business requirements, terms, and processes as part of the development specifications, in order to appropriately complete assigned development tasks.
Collaborate with others on the development team to help resolve any technical problems.
Work with QA testers to verify testing results, track defects, and follow up on resolution and closure.
Education: AS Electronics Engineering or other relevant undergraduate pre-engineering degree
1+ years general electronics technician
1+ years circuits testing
1+ years PLC ladder-logic design and development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to be adaptive to different work assignments as well as adaptive to work with different groups of people.
Strong teamwork ethic and customer support focus.
HP Quality Center experience
1+ years design and development of electronics and instrumentation systems
5+ years in leadership roles of increasing responsibility
Experience developing system standards and procedures with a disciplined support methodology
