Will perform software testing of software applications based on defined requirements and test cases. Will setup and run mainframe scoring jobs where required. Will execute existing test cases, manage test workstation settings, record actual test results accurately, create test data, and report defects with necessary detail. Will conduct manual testing of software applications (web, .net mainframe etc.¿) and other system software using established test suites and procedures. Will review defects, anomalies and issues with developers and other project team members to assist with resolution. Will report test results to senior analysts, test leads, managers and or enter results directly into SILK Will report status to test leads/managers using the templates and job aids that are defined within the Software Testing Organization.Work as part of a team to accomplish testing assignments and contribute to software and process improvements efforts within the Software Testing Organization¿ Communicate effectively to senior analysts, test leads, managers through email, phone, and/or in-person and any issues that require escalating. Always respond to all requests or questions by the planned due date. Applies technical skills to troubleshoot software, and hardware problems and assist with tracking, analyzing and resolving problems.
