Reviewer of customer contracts & specifications for major projects & inquiries. Interpretation and implementation of industry standards and legislation to ensure compliance with statutory and customer requirements. The primary objective is to provide the candidate within a 6 month period as many experiences relating to Quality as possible. The candidate after completion will have:

  • Obtained an in-depth understanding of the roles, responsibilities and tools of a
Quality Analyst and how these tools apply at Cameron.
  • Perform Inspection on Drilling Systems parts for 1 year.
  • An overview of the DPS Cameron Quality Management System (QMS) to include:
  • (a).Review of QMS procedures, the QMS governance and a behind scenes look at the
maintenance of these systems
  • (b).In-depth understanding of the SAP Quality processes to include: Non-Conformance
Reporting and analysis, Corrective and Preventive Action Reporting & analysis Cameron's
approved vendor List (AVL),Cameron's Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), (c).Understanding
of quality key performance indicators (KPI)
  • An in-depth understanding of ISO 9001, become certified as a Level II Cameron ISO
Auditor and perform at least (4) ISO audits internal to Cameron and at our vendors
  • Overview of Non-destructive Testing (NDT) to include overview of Radiographic,
Ultrasonic, Dye Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Inspection

  • Promote HSE compliance within the facility and vendor community
  • Identify and implement quality improvement opportunities
  • Preparation of Special Procedures, Quality Plans and related
  • quality procedures, to satisfy customer and legislative requirements
  • Preparation and update of quality system documentation e.g.
  • Quality Assurance Manual
  • Dedicated quality support as part of project management
  • Teams for major contracts, duties include all items herein plus:
o Quality input for project report, NCR reporting and analysis
as required by vendors or projects
o Supporting and expediting FPR investigations
o Quality auditing of Cameron and vendor systems
o Quality improvement activities including analysis of nonconformance
o Training of company and vendor personnel in quality and related matters
o Supporting investigations into product / system failures
o Support the Quality Department function as need arises

Job Requirements/ Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience
  • Familiar with all types of manufacturing processes employed by the company
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Experienced in statistical analysis and able to identify trends
  • Able to understand and interpret the requirements of production planning
documents, material specifications and vendor supplied material certification
