Analyze system and business process requirements and design test strategies, test plans and test cases to ensure maximum test coverage

Develop and execute manual and automated tests at all test phases to verify application readiness for production implementation

Manipulating data and understanding the underlying process details

Design and develop automated tests

Troubleshooting and documenting program bugs

Working closely with team members to ensure status and schedules are communicated and met

Configure and manage test environments for software under test, including configuring web servers and reporting services

Provide input to test strategy

Assist with the overall quality effort of the product

Applies knowledge and experience to identify and assist with implementing process improvement

Assist with certifying the product is ready for production

Required Skills:
Requires a four-year degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline, equivalent experience

Minimum one year classroom or work experience in software testing, software development, business analysis or equivalent

Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL

Ability to test internal structures or workings of an application as well as functional testing

Ability to produce clearly written and detailed documentation and configuration documents

Willingness to take direction and learn from more experienced QA Analysts

Ability to work in fast-paced multi-tasking environment

Demonstrate strong QA methodology, process and experience in automation implementation

Experience with the different Software test types: Manual, UI, automation, performance, functional, stress, unit test, web test, database test, load test

Previous programming experience a plus

Background and experience in software test automation to ensure the quality of our products desirable

Experience with stress testing is a plus

Experience with automated testing tools such as Test Complete desirable

Hospital IT/clinical domain experience a plus, organ transplantation IT/clinical experience is ideal
