Job Description Hours: Monday through Friday; Second Shift 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM


Perform process audits to SOP and GOP specifications for the manufacture of printer cartridges.

Reports directly to Quality Assurance Supervisor.


Coordinate day-to-day build schedules with Production Supervisor and Team Leads for auditing purposes.

Be able to identify critical points in process.

Monitor production processes to SOP and GOP specifications.

Write up CAR (Corrective Action Requests) for non adherence to SOPs. Responsible for the correct data needed to communicate the exact procedure that was not followed.

Record and report audit findings.

Able to understand general work procedures, and matrixes.

Able to perform CAR follow ups to assure process conformity.

Communicate findings, issues and/or concerns with QA, Engineering and Manufacturing staff.

Able to perform root cause analysis, reporting and use root cause methods.

Must be familiar with customer requirements as it relates to each sku and associated quantities.

Record test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.

Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from Quality Assurance Protocol.

Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.

Perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.

Observe process performance; identify non-compliance issues and offer corrective action ideas.

Search intranet CARs database for repeat CARs and notify appropriate personnel of work concerns in process audit focus.

Inform Production Supervisors and QA Supervisor of persistent problems to discuss corrective actions.

To comply with all Company policies and procedures.

Responsible to follow housekeeping and safety policies and procedures.

Care for company assets.

Perform duties as required.


Education/Experience: Minimum two years in a quality assurance setting. Basic Microsoft Office; email, Word and Excel skills required.

Skills: Excellent communication skills that include verbal and written.



HIGH skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


BASIC skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


VERY HIGH skills - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


Individual could be expected frequently or regularly to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; Infrequently climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; Regularly talk or hear; or taste or smell.


Individual could be expected regularly to lift weights or exert force up to 10 lbs; frequently up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.


Close vision (see clearly at 20 inches or less); Distance vision (see clearly at 20 feet or more); Color vision (identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral vision (observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes remain fixed on a given point); Depth perception (Three-dimensional vision, judge distances and spatial relationships to see objects where and as they actually are); or the Ability to adjust focus.
