Position Description :
The Quality Assurance Technician reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager. The primary role of the Quality Assurance Technician will be to review all aspects of Construction Inspection and record keeping on all Turnpike Enterprise projects and to offer guidance and recommendations to improve the overall Construction and CMEMC process. The individual will be required to perform regularly scheduled Quality Assessment Reviews utilizing the Statewide Inspection Guide List and Statewide Critical Requirement List and report/document all finding(s) to the CEI staff and/or the Turnpike Quality Assurance Manager. Assist in the implementation of the Turnpike Enterprise Quality Assurance Plan, including coordination with CE&I Personnel in Pre-Operations/Pre-Work meetings and early production inspection. Some travel requiring overnight stay.
Years Experience: 5
Five years of experience and CTQP Level I, II Qualifications for the following areas: M.O.T., Earthwork, Concrete, Foundation and Asphalt.
Computer Skills Required: Basic computer skills required to complete forms and compose reports.
Education: High School Diploma
Valid Florida Driver License Required
