Responsibilities

Role Overview:
Creates/modifies Test documentation including Detailed Test Conditions, Test Cycles, Test Scripts, Data Paths, and Expected Results for System Work
Own test development lifecycle, requirements analysis, test development, execution and issue resolution Use test management and development tools
Deliver automated tests integrated with product development activities
Identifies entry and exit criteria
Ensures accurate defect tracking, escalation, and reporting
Identify strengths and opportunities for improvement based on Walt Disney experiences and industry practices

Basic Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Experience working in Java environment
Knowledge of Agile development processes (SCRUM)
Experience using scripting languages (Javascript, Perl, Python)
Experience with software automation testing tools
Ability to write clear and thorough test cases
Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent listening, verbal and written skills

Preferred Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:
3.0 overall GPA
Experience with automation tools such as LoadRunner, Selenium and Quick Test
Professional Knowledge of software testing fundamental concepts including regression, load, white box, black box, positive, negative, and boundary testing

Required Education
Currently enrolled in a 4 year program at the Junior or Senior level, in Computer Science, or a recent graduate (within 6 months of the internship start date).

Additional Information

Internship Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall), or have graduated within the last 6 months prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Not have already completed two consecutive (spring/fall) College or Professional Internship Programs
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Must provide full work availability
Must provide own transportation to/from work
Current Active Disney Cast Members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World Cast Members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland Cast Members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months) Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are September 2014 through December 2014.
Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
