Kelly Scientific Resources is seeking for a QUALITY ASSURANCE PACKAGING INSPECTOR II (TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT)
SCHEDULE: 3RD SHIFT 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Candidate must be able to work 1st shift for the first 2 - 3 weeks of Training)
Summary: The Quality Assurance Packaging Inspector II is responsible for ensuring the day to day support to Production and R&D operations through the inspection of all packaging areas, line clearance of room and equipment and visual inspection of finished Transdermal products, to ensure that packaged products conforms to quality standards. This is accomplished through tasks, which include, but may not be limited to, sampling and submission of finished products samples and swab samples to Quality Control.
Essential Job Functions: This is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. Incumbent s may not be required to perform all duties listed, and, may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.
Enforce cGMP regulations and Aveva s Standard Operating Procedures SOPs in the Production and R&D packaging areas. Packaging room and equipment line clearance. Sampling and inspection of finished transdermal products including AQL plans. Complete Inspection forms for packaging. Sampling product for on-line inspection, stability, QC/R D Labs, reworks, controlled substance, etc. Prepare AQL plans. Track results of AQLs. Work with Production to resolve problems when defects are found on line. Prepare a Product Standard Library as each new product is launched. Contribute to Defect Library. Other duties assigned as required.
Required Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of: English usage, spelling, and punctuation. Computer systems and software applications. FDA, cGMPs, and SOPs related to job requirements.

Skills in: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general documents, procedures, and periodicals. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Strong organizational skills. Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, be responsive and adaptable to project/task change based on business requirements Ability to organize utensils, containers, labeling and materials to efficiently perform SWAB sampling
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Incumbents in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor, moderate to loud noise levels. Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment requires hearing protection in Packaging rooms.
Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree A.A. from two-year college; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Quality Assurance experience in the pharmaceutical or other regulated industry preferred.
