-Lead team members located on-shore and off-shore

-Execute multi-platform integration testing (Web, WINS AS/400, DuckCreek, ImageRight, policy administration systems, third party vendor software, MS Outlook, CRM, DataMart, IBM WebSphere, Active Directory)

-Follow SDLC and apply QA standards during test planning, test preparation, test execution, test/defect management, and project wrap-up

-Provide level of effort estimates and create QA project schedules

-Manage to QA project schedule

-Plan testing effort and provide daily status to project stakeholders

-Analyze business requirements and design documents

-Create integration test cases, test data, test strategies, and test plans from BRD and design documents

-Apply data mapping skills to map and verify data elements from source application to target applications

-Facilitate resolution of obstacles

-Coordinate code turnovers

-Interact with QA Manager, business analysts, technical teams, business stakeholders and project managers


-Four-year degree in computer science or related field

-QA Lead with test management, defect management, and problem resolution experience – 5 years experience

-On-shore and off-shore team leadership – 3 years experience

-Hands-on experience with SDLC, QA processes, standards, test management, defect management, problem resolution, status reporting - +7 years experience

-Hands-on multi-platform integration testing including verification of XML, screens, reports, databases, files – 2 years experience

-Property & Casualty Insurance background (commercial or personal lines)

-In depth knowledge of policy workflow, premium rating, and forms

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills

-Strong attention to detail, self-motivated and a willingness to learn

-Capable of working on multiple projects and various tasks simultaneously and independently

Technical Requirements:

-DuckCreek Policy Administration for Property & Casualty Insurance (deep knowledge of interface, generated XML, database) – highly proficient

-WINS AS/400 (interface, reports, files, and querying database)

-XML (verifying XML contains correct values) - experienced

-RDBMS: Oracle 10g, SQL Server, DB2

-DB Tools: SQL plus, TOAD
-Knowledge of IBM WebSphere or similar middleware a plus

-Knowledge of active directory integration, and Jira a plus

-MS Project, Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint
