DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION The Quality Control (QC) Associate will work closely with the Distribution Center leads, the Warehouse Operations Manager, and Management Information Systems to ensure quality control. This position will audit shipments for accuracy, eliminate found discrepancies, and maintain records of inspection. The QC will communicate and assist in any inefficiencies to maximize effectiveness. The QC will also assist in the packing process to evaluate best practices to minimize labor necessary in sorting and auditing from the store fronts.

DUTIES

DUTIES Inspect outgoing product shipments to ensure 100% accuracy of freight quantities.Inspect product tagging to ensure barcodes are entered correctly and prices are correct.Direct communication with DC Leads to correct discrepancies.Determine root causes of discrepancies and partner with DC leads, Warehouse Operations Manager, and MIS to reduce quality control issues in Inbound/Outbound receiving.Report discrepancies to Management Information Services.Maintain records of manual inspection.Monitor vendor discrepancies to ensure resolution in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONSImpeccable attention to detail2 or more years experience with inspection and quality control (preferred but not required)Experience in a warehouse, management or inventory setting in a fast-paced environment.Takes pride in accuracy and thorough execution of duties.
