We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager for our treatment division, Sanitaire, located in Brown Deer, WI. Develop, implement and manage a Quality Assurance program for the manufacturing of wastewater treatment equipment and to ensure a vendor quality program that meets Xylem standards. This position will ensure compliance with production, sourcing, contractual, company and industry standards and requirements.

The QA Manager Conduct will conduct regular site visits to outside vendor facilities to audit and verify compliance with quality program procedures and objectives. He/She will evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective action where necessary. Performs root cause analysis and subsequent actions. Collaborates and partners with Engineers, Sales and Production colleagues to review specifications, product development and project bids. Travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering combined with at least five (5) years of manufacturing experience in QA methodology and testing; or Bachelors Degree in related field and ten (10) years experience in QC/QA methods. Demonstrated experience in auditing and improving supplier quality. Proficient use of Microsoft Office products and solid written and verbal communication skills required. Lean Certification preferred/ Black Belt Certification a plus.
