Responsible to the Site Lead for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Control System. Monitor all contract operations to ensure acceptable services/products are provided to the Government in accordance with an approved Quality Control Plan (QCP).


Schedule, conduct, and document inspections. Conduct discrepancy identification and correction; corrective action procedures to include procedures for addressing Government discovered non-conformances; procedures for root cause analysis to identify the root cause and root cause corrective action to prevent re-occurrence of discrepancies; procedures for trend analysis; procedures for collecting and addressing customer feedback/complaints. Provide the Government quality control documentation. Ensure a written QCP is submitted and approved by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Mission Installation Contract Command (MICC) Quality Assurance Surveillance (QAS) and Contracting Officer (KO) within ten (10) days of contract start and within five (5) days of every time QCP update. Request the Contracting Officer’s acceptance in writing for any proposed change to the QC system. Identify and correct potential and actual problem areas throughout the life of the contract. Ensure QCP addresses and coworkers comply with Internal work performance standards; productivity measurement, work control, including work scheduling, work flow, and application of established standards for all functional areas under the contract; industrial relations and personnel management; data collection and other documentation. Implement the Quality Control Inspection System. Process corrective actions without dependence upon Government direction. Ensure corrective actions are documented and conduct a Root Cause Analysis within five (5) calendar days of identification. Ensure all reports submitted to the Government are signed by Site Lead and/or self and submitted in a timely manner. Develop measures to be taken when performance is substandard. These measures will include how performance will be corrected and returned to an acceptable level and how the acceptable level of performance will be sustained once achieved. Develop method for documenting and enforcing maintenance operations to include a format and sample of each record and report. Ensure workforce has access and training on all record keeping and reporting procedures. Maintain a file of all reports on inspections and tests conducted by the Contractor on Government furnished equipment and record of all deficiencies found and all corrective action taken. Meet with the COR at least bi-weekly during the contract period of performance. Performs other duties as assigned.


A High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) desired. 2+ years Quality Control experience is preferred. Proficient in the English language with good communication skills with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical documents, financial reports, and legal documents. Good arithmetic skills are required. Mechanical aptitude desired. Working knowledge of measurement instruments. General proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Must possess the ability to accept guidance and follow instructions. Must possess driver’s license valid for the operation of a motor vehicle in the state of Georgia. Requires ability to stand unaided for a period of two (2) hours or more. Ability to lift/carry boxes/packages not to exceed 70 lbs. Physical dexterity to push/pull, climb/balance, bend/stoop, twist/turn, kneel/crouch, crawl, reach overhead, grasp, use feet for foot controls. Ability to operate a vehicle of four wheels, up to 1-Ton. Perform work in and outdoors, in extreme hot and cold weather; may experience vibrations, noxious fumes, gases, odors, lightning forest fires, venomous/dangerous animals and/or insects, and high levels of noise. Work in high wind/pollen/dust environment. Work requires physical presence around high voltage and machinery. Subject to call at all hours. Work at remote locations for sustained periods under stress and without supervision; may be required to wear or carry a variety of protective clothing and/or equipment designed to safeguard against explosion, fire, power cutting tools, electrical hazards, dust, pesticides, toxic paint fume, loud noise, welding arc residue of molten metal, detritus slung from mowing, sweeping and the effects of military munitions; responsible for co-workers safety in hazardous conditions.
