Job Description: Quality Control Manager

Government Secure Solutions CGI Inc is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead the programs efforts to maintain continuous product service quality by implementing process controls, data analysis and measurment devices.

Summary of Position:
  • The QA Manager will provide general supervision and technical quidance to the QA Staff in the analysis, design, testing, and deployment of all program deliverables. The QA Manager maintains ultimate responsibility for assuring that all products are defect free and compliant with technical specifications.
  • The QA Manager maintains product consistancy throughout product cycle, to include the design, define and build phases through quality checkpoints and testing. The QA Manager will assist in developing test procedures to verify equipment and system functionality.
  • The QA manager will develop and manage quality assurance metrics for performance improvement of all teams. Implement ongoing quality improvement processes working with the interdepartmental teams.
  • The QA Manager will manage the planning and execution of product testing efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed delivery dates.
  • The QA Manager works with Project Manager to develop project schedules and resource allocation models for QA related projects and other activities.
  • The QA Manager is responsible for ensuring work on all task order is meeting all customer quality assurance specifications and the guidelines of Stanley's Quality Management System (QMS) program.
  • The QA Manager will also support technical review of all systems documentation to include, but not limited to technical manuals, field changes, equipment test procedures and systems verification and validation reports.
Principle Duties:
  • Responsible for QA inspections, testing and verification and validation of all procedures associated with assigned projects
  • Monitor the QMS while performing the work;
  • Exercise the guidelines established in ISO 9001:2008 through designated ISO/QMS representatives and inspectors;
  • Enforce quality control work standards to ensure equipment and systems integration are in compliance with contract requirements and government regulations; conduct formal and informal reviews on quality;
  • Interfaces with the integration, logistics and technical documentation personnel for all QA related issues;
  • Optimizes ISO processes, operations, and resources to ensure maximum quality control capability is attained;
  • Provide written and oral quality control reports to the Project Manager (PM)
  • AS Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 4 years directly related work experience
required. High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 7-10 years of directly related work experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Ability to maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to successfully complete the Stanley Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.
  • Ability to maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% or less.
  • Quality Assurance experience at the field or sustainment level;
  • Experience in the Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience and expertise in the ISO 9000 series processes and methodologies;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Project, Outlook)
  • Work schedule must be flexible in order to manage quality control and to ensure mission accomplishment;
