T.B. Penick & Sons, Inc. is currently accepting resumes and applications from qualified candidates for Quality Control Managers for a USACE project in southeast Arizona.

Job Duties

-Responsible for the QC construction inspection requirements, in accordance with the project documents, senior project management personnel, and the USACE
-Inspect all work and rework to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Interpret construction drawings and specifications and evaluate deviations from specified construction procedures and materials

-Prepare daily QC reports, maintain work logs, and stop any segment of work which does not comply with contract plans and specifications.

-Identify impacts and evaluate effect on project budget and schedule
-Maintain construction logs and records related to employee's work assignments and inspection activities. Documentation and logs include records and information from all inspectors, subcontractors, and other agencies or others that may relate to the project

Requirements -Minimum 5 years experience with USACE Projects and USACE EM 385 1-1
-Completed the course entitled "Construction Quality Management for Contractors" and maintain current certificate

-Minimum 10 years Commercial Construction experience
-Scheduling/Organizational skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office

-10 years of combined experience as superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer on similar size and type construction contracts, and at least five years experience as a QC Manager on USACE Projects
