Job Description Summary:
The Quality Control Manager contributes to the success
of Xtreme Lashes by developing and maintaining quality
systems and controls that are appropriate, effective,
and efficient to ensure overall quality of our products.
The QC Manager will provide leadership and direction for
the QC department to ensure quality standards meet or
exceed the company, regulatory and customer
requirements. This individual will be responsible for
development of employees within the department as well
as participate in Product Development projects and
provide guidance on quality and regulatory aspect of
product development.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage employees within the department by
effective employee relations, hiring, training and
communication of departmental goals
  • Develop and amend SOPs to keep them up-to-date and
ensure compliance in all respects with established
product standards, test protocols and specifications
  • Ensure products are in compliance with domestic and
international cosmetic regulations
  • Create and maintain data collection and storage
systems for QC department
  • Manage daily operations of QC department and ensure
completion of QC tasks in accordance with due dates
  • Collaborate with shipping/receiving and purchasing to
ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are in accordance
with established quality standards
  • Ensure any nonconformance of finished goods and
components is identified, investigated and corrective
and preventive actions are implemented by collaborating
with purchasing, shipping/receiving and vendors
  • Collaborate with Product Development team during
development phase for new product testing and provide
quality risk assessments
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and Product Development
team to establish standards and SOPs for new products
being developed
  • Conduct analysis of customer complaints and create
investigation plan for product defects
  • Direct and conduct supplier audits for new and
existing suppliers

Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in technical and regulatory
fields
  • Extensive managerial experience
  • Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of chemistry, routine laboratory procedures
and GMP regulations preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in an environment of changing
priorities and levels of intensity
  • Detail oriented and ability to multitask
  • Ability to make quality decisions based on data and
present information to internal and external teams
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction
as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Experience auditing contract manufacturing facilities
to assess GMP compliance and assurance for consistency
in products
  • Knowledge of cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry
preferred
  • Intermediate-Advanced Microsoft Office skills:
Outlook, Word, Excel
