This projects will be providing site support services involving Power Plant, Administrative Facility Renovations, and Exterior Cooling Tower at this Government Facility near Adams County, PA.
Supports the Pentagon Building Management Office (PBMO) in the project management of maintenance and repair building infrastructure projects. Supports other efforts, as assigned to include organizational assessment, strategic planning, mission analysis, and project development services.
Desired analyst should be familiar with, based on past experience, and provide expertise in building mechanical and HVAC controls systems.
Strategic planning for technology programs and activities involves the definition, interpretation, and development of high-level organizational technical engineering performance requirements for the successful execution of tasks, projects and programs; and the development and implementation of processes in support of the organizational mission at the macro or micro scales.
High School/Trade School diploma and 4-6 years of related construction experience or a minimum of 1 year as a Quality Control Inspector, Associate.
Appropriate Quality Control Inspector Certification required within 6 months of employment.
It is anticipated that individuals will be certified to perform activities in one or more of the following areas (or subjects): Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Instrumentation and Controls, Civil, Structural, Architectural, HVAC, Welding, Non-Destructive Examination, Receiving, and Special Processes. Certification to industry recognized standards, such as certification to DOT, IEEE, AWS, SNT-TC-1a, IEEE, ACI or International Code Council or internal Parsons certification requirements as part of the GBU Quality Control certification program, (developed and prescribed by GBU procedure, and administered locally or by the GBU) will be required.
4-year degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Math, Quality Assurance or related field and 2 years related construction experience or 2 years as Quality Control Inspector, Associate
2-year degree in the appropriate construction discipline and 1-3 years related construction experience or 2 years as Quality Control Inspector, Associate.
ASQ membership desired.
Additional years of education beyond the minimum requirement are considered equivalent to years of related work experience.
All inspectors must be tested for visual acuity and color discrimination as a part of employment.
Requires proficiency in the use of computers and software packages needed to support the documentation, analysis and retention of quality records.
Requires the ability to communicate clearly and interface effectively with a diverse group of professionals.
