Residential Operations Center (Downtown Honolulu, Oahu)
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (hours may vary)
Performs post-closing quality control audits of residential mortgage loans to ensure conformance to established Federal, State, Bank and investor regulations and policies. Reviews and audits a select percentage (as required by investors and bank) of closed, cancelled and denied residential mortgage loans on a daily basis. Responsible for special post-closing audits requested by secondary market investors.
Bachelor’s degree required or 2 year mortgage banking classes or real estate classes required. Two to three years experience in real estate lending preferred. Good understanding of eligibility and underwriting guidelines for secondary market investors. Must be discreet and tactful due to confidentiality of various loan documents. Must be organized, detail oriented and able to work under pressure. Must be a self-starter, able to function with minimal supervision and meet deadlines. Must have effective written and oral communication skills. Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing applications (MS Office Word and Excel). Knowledge of database (MS Access) is helpful.
