      Duties and Responsibilities:

      A Quality Control Technician IV will be responsible for inspection of very complex assemblies as well as piece-parts. The perfect candidate will have to demonstrate the capabilities to inspect loose or tight tolerance parts. This includes off-site (launch-site) x-ray inspection and performing off-site auditing as required. Overtime and second sift will be required as needed. Abilitiy to obtain a DOD/SSBI security clearance is required. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to oversee the Non-Destructive Test lab. NDT Level II certified to NAS 410 and IRRSP: selecting and performing the appropriate inspection techniques to evaluate discontinuities or anomalies in NGC products. These techniques include x-ray, dye-penetrant, ultrasonic and thermal wave imaging. Experience with welding, composite and electronic inspection is required. In addition, Quality Control Technician IV must perform requested x-ray inspection in the various high-bays where spacecraft integration is being completed. The ability to work with all levels of management and excellent communication skills are a must. Must be a self-starter and possess process improvement skills. Ability to work multiple shifts and travel for several days at a time, work in and around sensitive equipment, work in confined spaces, climb ladders and work in elevated platforms. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 6 years related experience.
