Quality Control TechnicianPurpose of the job: The Laboratory Technician(s) are responsible for daily testing of finished and unfinished emulsions per established GAP and ISO procedures. Laboratory Technician(s) are also responsible for the condition of laboratory equipment (including wastewater testing equipment), communication and control of analytical methods, and retention of in-process product samples. The Laboratory Technician(s) will work shifts that best supports the plants needs for analytical and wet analysis testing, which may include the off shift. This position will also serve as the primary Waste Water Operator who responsible for overseeing daily Waste Water operations and will be licensed by the state of Indiana for class “B“ Waste Water Operator. The Laboratory Technician(s) oversees the sterilization process and tests for Bio Contamination. Inventory for Shelf Life finished goods is reviewed monthly and where appropriate re-qualified as First Pass Quality. Shelf Life finished goods that have tested (FPQ) are blended with prime finished goods where appropriate.

The Challenge Quality Control TechnicianPurpose of the job: - Ensure all quality processes for end product inspection are handled correct and efficient- To secure quality processes for raw materials, intermediates and end products supplied byexternal providers- To support Production with day to day Quality related issues, incl. root cause analysis in caseof off spec, in order to support efficient and effective production processes.Job content- To analyze and interpret results of Quality tests using pre-defined specifications and to takeaction in case of deviation, in cooperation with production, improve plant, R&T and application development. To report test results and action plan accordingly.- To act as intermediate for quality related issues on processes, product and machinery formanufacturing, Engineers, Plant Chemist, R&T and AD.- To attend Quality Meetings, Production meetings and others to represent the plant for qualityrelated items.- To secure a minimum volume of rejected material and to take all actions needed to reduce offspec. production.- To test/identify bulk goods (tank truck) and packed raw materials according the requirementsin the raw materials data base.- Responsible for the calibration and preventive maintenance (PM) of laboratory analyticalinstruments and equipment, as well as coordinating with the supplier/ vendor of theequipment in case of breakdown.- To inspect and retest out of date stock of end products and raw materials using shelf-life- To report on quality data on a weekly and/or monthly base.- To support operators with the executions of standard analyses and to instruct them oncorrective actions in case of deviation.- To improve control and execution of the production process, using SQC/SPC
