The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for ongoing review of medical records to ensure compliance with established nationally recognized quality patient outcomes (Core Measures). This individual must assume a leadership role and be able to work well with medical staff, nursing and other ancillary departments. This is a position that requires attention to detail and ability to function well under stress. Works closely with Information Technology Department and Health Information to provide modification to the data registry fields for tracking of internal patient outcomes and for transmission of information. Works closely with directors and clinical coordinators in the development, execution, ongoing, and annual evaluation of quality/performance improvement activities, departmental standards. Responsible for assisting in educating staff and physicians in core measures. Demonstrates ability to look at the system issues behind medical errors and portrays a “no blame” demeanor in all reviews and investigations.

- Registered Nurse with a license to practice in Wyoming required
- BSN/BS from an accredited school preferred
- Two years’ experience in utilization review or case management preferred
- Certification in Case Management such as CCM or ACM preferred
