The Quality Coordinator is responsible for the review of core measure records and the abstraction of information from the medical records of discharged patients. The Quality Coordinator ensures information abstracted from medical records is entered into screening tools and/or into data base programs as specified. The Quality Coordinator assists with Meaningful use/EMR projects.
EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/SKILLS PREFERRED: Surgery experience, quality review experience, BSN; Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHQ) EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/SKILLS REQUIRED: RN licensed to practice in Oklahoma with 3-5 years acute care/surgical care experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) required. Data management skills required. Computer skills including word processing and data base programs required. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Core measures/quality management skills. If skills listed are not available at time or hire, associate must acquire soon after hire.
