Position: Quality Engineer
Location: San Francisco
The Demandforce platform is responsible for email and text message communications, social media integration and big data management.
We are looking for a Quality Engineer who wants to work in a fun, collaborative, and fast-paced environment where ownership, problem solving, and teamwork are rewarded. You will be responsible for understanding the behavior of our platform and building on an integration framework using JUnit and Selenium. The role involves working closely with engineers, release engineers and product managers.
Build and maintain automated test cases using Selenium.
Upholding company standards in delivering quality services.
Preparing written procedures and documentation of testing and software creation processes.
Developing and delivering accurate and timely reporting.
Collaborating with and leading resources in China.
Ensuring conformity with company quality standards and compliance with external requirements.
Managing test cases.
Manual testing as needed.
Designing and building Selenium automation in Java: at least 3 years of experience
Knowledge of test case management tools (e.g. Enterprise Tester): at least 3 years of experience
Good understanding of Java Unit Testing Frameworks (JUnit, TestNG): at least 3 years of experience
Good understanding of continuous integration and build tools (Maven, Bamboo, Jenkins, etc.).
Good understanding of Source Control Systems (Mercurial, Git, etc).
Experience building automation in Agile environment.
Educational experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related field.
Comfortable working with open source platforms.Team player with strong communications skills.
