This is a 6 month temporary position at 40 hours per week.
Quality Engineer
Position Summary: A QE I will process Level 1 adverse event, Lack of Effect and non-serious product quality complaints including receipt of consumer samples within a timely and accurate manner as well as partner with internal and external sites to ensure timely closure of complaints. This individual shall have general knowledge of all products and the manufacturing sites, Standard Operating Procedures, GMPs, basic decision making skills and basic understanding of quality systems. The QE I shall have analytical skills and the ability to detect trends and should possess and be able to detect potential product issues.
Responsibilities: Process non-serious product quality, adverse event and Lack of Effect complaints according to department procedures and external procedures as applicable. Perform routine tasks assigned by the EMQA Complaint Vigilance team. Identify and communicate adverse trends to the EMQA Complaint Vigilance team. Partner with internal and external manufacturing sites to become knowledgeable with their product and processes. Perform evaluation of field samples and enter investigation results, as applicable. Ability to identify potential product issues and communicate to the EMQA Complaint Vigilance team within a timely manner. Continuous partnering to ensure process improvement with contact centers and other business partners. Assist in processing Level 2 and Serious PQC complaints upon request.
Education: Minimum Associates Degree required.
