Job location : Greater Minneapolis/ St Paul

PURPOSE:
This position will have leadership responsibility for
providing quality assurance expertise and working as a
team member with various Multek personnel to meet the
needs, requirements and expectations of our customers.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNT-ABILITIES/DUTIES:
  • Develops standards and methods for inspection,
testing and evaluation.
  • Devises sampling procedures and instructions to
record quality and reliability data.
  • Develops and implements procedures for disposition
of discrepant material. Devises methods to assess
cost and root cause for discrepant material.
  • Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing
product for process quality and reliability.
  • Writes training material and conducts training
sessions on quality control activities.
  • Supports Product Engineers and Quality Program
Manager as customer interface on quality related
issues.
  • Consolidates and reports quality results.
  • Initiates corrective action requests and drives them
to satisfactory completion.
  • Assists with development and implementation of
quality audits.
  • Responsible for developing, applying, revising and
maintaining quality standards for processing
materials.
  • Designs and implements procedures for inspecting,
testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of
production equipment.
  • Analyzes returned products and recommends corrective
action.
  • Approves product, process and equipment
qualifications.
  • Provides liaison to various regulatory bodies
REQUIRED (MUST-HAVE) QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED, technical training or 6
years of related experience.

REQUIRED (MUST-HAVE) QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent
experience, with 2 years or more experience in the
high technology electronics industry or related
field.
  • Experience in Printed Circuit Board manufacturing.
(either Hard Board or Flexible Circuit
manufacturing)
  • Ability to work directly with Automotive Industry
customers and suppliers.
  • Root cause analysis experience.
  • Corrective and preventative action implementation
experience.
  • Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process
experience
  • Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and
Process/Product Control Plans implementation.
  • Quality Management Systems (i.e., ISO9001, TS16949,
VDA and other systems) interaction
  • Software proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC) including ANOVA,
DOE, GR&R, GD&D experience
  • Product troubleshooting and failure analysis
implementation.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Technical skills in the following areas and with the
following equipment :
  • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
  • Thermal chambers (reliability testing) storage and
environmental conditions.
  • Cross sectioning and analysis
  • Medical device manufacturing and quality
requirements (i.e., ISO13485, CGMP, FDA, etc.)
  • Advanced database skills – MS Access.
  • Supervisory experience. (small group)
  • EtQ and Oracle database user experience
