Mandatory Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Technical or Related Field
1-5 years of Electronics Assembly or Quality.
Must Have PCBA, Box-Build, and Configuration
Skills Required: Benchtop test equipment, microscopes/magnifiers, dimensional gauging equipment and both PC and main frame computer systems.
Position Summary:
Perform Quality Engineering functions as they relate to vendors, internal processes and customer requirements.
Responsibilities include:
Generation of written procedures that conform to Company and Customer standards
Coordinate total corrective action system including vendor, internal and customer generated corrective action
Coordination of internal audit process
Represent quality organization at MRB proceedings
Communicating orally and in writing with customers on RDCs involving quality issues
Formulation and implementation of quality process improvements
Evaluation of customer returns for recurring trends and generation of appropriate corrective actions
Knowledge of industry (IPC) and customer workmanship standards and their application to Company processes
Interface with all Company departments on quality issues
Assist Manufacturing and Engineering with SPC and DOE implementation
Light to moderate lifting when evaluating returned products and MRB material
Must be able to identify workmanship and material defects by sight and distinguish colors
Communication by telephone with customers and suppliers
Ability to travel to vendors and customer locations without restrictions
