Summary
Fast paced environment for manufacturing miniature electro-mechanical sensor assemblies requires a versatile supervisor to schedule daily priorities in machine shop inspection, in-coming receiving, in-process and final end item inspection. Familiar with all IPC solder workmanship and acceptability standards and precision mechanical inspection as well as all levels of assembly through final test. Must able to assign tasks to inspectors, follow up, and maintain daily process targets for all functional departments as well as customer and government source inspection.
Responsibilities
Supervision of Quality Department activities (in process, receiving, machined parts, and final inspection)
Mitigate in process rejections and capture 1st pass yield data
Ensure ESD controls are effective and maintained per ANSI S20.20
Write and Conduct Employee Performance Review
Monitor shelf life recall
Ensure the verification of raw materials per AS9100 requirements
Develop and manage department work schedule and metrics
Manage the execution of the lot sampling per ISO 2859/1999
Manage the execution of the Calibration Recall Program per ISO 17025
Present end item buy off for customer and government source including delegate programs.
Job Requirements:
Key Requirements
5 years Mechanical & Electrical inspection background.
Must be familiar with AS9100 and 17025 requirements
Experience e scheduling daily priorities in machine shop inspection
In-coming receiving, in-process and final end item inspection
Familiar with all IPC solder workmanship and acceptability standards and precision mechanical inspection as well as all levels of assembly through final test.
Manufacturing of Piezoelectric sensor products for the measurement of force, pressure and acceleration experience.
Must able to assign tasks to inspectors(about 5 or 6 inspectors) follow up, and maintain daily process targets for all functional departments
Experience with electro-mechanical sensor assemblies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Great communication and people skills a must.
