Job Description Triumph Aerospace Systems - Seattle (TAS-Sea) is the systems engineering and integration focal for Triumph Group Inc. companies. We are leaders in the next generation of motion, control, and power systems for commercial and military aircraft and rotorcraft. Control systems solutions range from hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, and structural mechanical integrated with the latest advances in digital electronic control. Responsibilities : 1) Conduct inspections for incoming materials. 2) Perform receiving, in-process and final inspections. 3) Participate in the preparation of Receiving Inspection Plans. 4) Creates appropriate records of inspection activities—enters QC data in logs, fills out transfer documents and Non Conforming Material Reports.

Job Requirements: 1) Must have a strong knowledge of basic mathematical operations and perform measurement. conversions; able to solve for x; add and subtract degrees, minutes and seconds. 2) Works from documentation (blueprints and Aerospace specifications) to determine acceptance or rejection of job/material. 3) Understand the proper use of torque wrenches. 4) Familiar with using various measuring devices and techniques: calipers, height gage, thread gages, etc. 5) Must be able to identify and report nonconforming material. 6) Must understand traceability (product, material and calibration). 7) Assist with technical questions and interface with other departments (i.e.: Production, Procurement and Others.). 8) The candidate must possess initiative to recommend changes or improvements to documentation, inspection methods or related criteria. 9) Performs other tasks as assigned by Quality Manager.
