- **CRITICAL NEED POSITION**
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare based discipline or 8 years experience in Quality Improvement or related discipline in a hospital/healthcare setting.

EXPERIENCE: Eight years combined experience in clinical practice, management or administration in a healthcare setting. One year performance improvement experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have eye/hand/foot coordination, finger/fine dexterity and be able to handle/grip/squeeze. Must be capable of transferring-vertical/horizontal, lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds and be able to push/pull, climb, stoop/bend, kneel, walk, sit, crouch/squat, stand and reach.

SUMMARY: Facilitates performance improvement activities at the hospital level in coordination with regional quality leadership and hospital leadership. Provides quality improvement training and education and acts as a facilitator for hospital implementation and process improvements. Coordinates data gathering for hospital-specific metrics and reports data back to departments for the complete performance improvement cycle. Investigates and assists in identification of areas of improvement with a number of tools to include root cause analysis, intensive analysis, process mapping, and failure modes effects analysis. Educates staff and medical staff, as appropriate, related to performance metrics and performance. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
