1) Manage and direct the efforts of the quality engineers in the logistics center and warehouse2) Maintain a leading edge understanding of medical device quality processes3) Evaluate and develop improved quality techniques and find ways to improve quality while reducing costs4) Ensure timely dispositions of material review board and corrective action issues5) Interface with vendors regarding discrepant incoming articles and co-ordinating MRB efforts6) Review, approve and co-ordinate intradepartmental approval of internal and externally generated deviations, and maintain log of same7) Manage staffing, positioning, hiring and disciplinary action (as necessary) for the Quality Department8) Maintain and equip the inspection department to meet the needs of tests and inspections required by new and modified products9) Maintain efficient work flow, work assignments and throughput standards for incoming articles10) Obtain and negotiate corrective actions11) Review and approve inspection of SOPs and quality system documents that pertain to the quality control functionMore questions?
